DIY Exfoliating Mask for Impure Skin

DIY Exfoliating Mask for Impure Skin

For those with impure or acne-prone skin, creating a gentle yet effective exfoliation at home is simple. A blend of rice flour and oat flour offers the perfect texture to deeply cleanse while soothing and refreshing your skin. Here’s how to create your own purifying exfoliating treatment:

Ingredients:

  • 1 level teaspoon of rice flour
  • 1 full teaspoon of oat flour
  • A few drops of hot water
  • 2-3 drops of tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)

Instructions:

  1. In a small cup, mix the rice flour and oat flour with a little hot water to form a thick, smooth cream.
  2. Add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil for its antimicrobial benefits, making the exfoliation even more purifying.
  3. Gently massage the mixture onto your face, focusing on areas with blackheads or impurities.
  4. Let the mask sit on your skin for 5 minutes.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, followed by a splash of cold water to close your pores.
  6. Pat your face dry with disposable paper towels to avoid bacteria transfer.

Remember to remove all excess mixture after use, as natural ingredients don't have a long shelf life.
